Silverthorne Breaks Ground on Recreation Center Expansion

On April 29, the Town of Silverthorne officially broke ground on the highly anticipated expansion of the Silverthorne Recreation Center—marking a major milestone in delivering more than 23,000 square feet of new and reimagined community space.

We’re honored to be part of this transformative project alongside an incredible team that includes JHL Constructors, IMEG, Artaic Group, and Studio CKA. From the earliest concept studies to the successful 2024 ballot initiative, this effort has been rooted in transparency, collaboration, and a shared vision to elevate recreation for everyone in Silverthorne.

Once complete, the expanded facility will feature larger fitness areas, a dedicated MAC gym, enhanced childcare and youth programming spaces, a rooftop outdoor activity area, and improved access to Rainbow Park—creating a more connected and inclusive experience for all users.

A huge shoutout to the Town of Silverthorne, its Recreation Department, and town leadership for their continued vision and commitment. We’re proud to support this important capital improvement and can’t wait to see the impact it brings to the community.

The Silverthorne Recreation Center will remain open throughout construction, with completion anticipated in Summer 2026.
