Timnath Elementary School Facility Improvements

Collab partnered with Poudre School District to provide feasability studies and concept designs for campus-wide facility and accessibility upgrades. The project focused on the school’s original three-story building, constructed in 1919, and addressed 19,153 square feet of the 53,606 SF facility.

Given the building’s age and the challenges of modernizing a historic structure, the project required careful planning and coordination with the State of Colorado. We provided concept plans through permit, leading to significant improvements—including a new elevator serving all levels (including the basement music room), ADA-compliant restroom renovations, accessible routes throughout the building and site, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems.
