Department of Public Safety, Fire Prevention, and Control

Collab partnered with the Department of Public Safety to design a multi-functional facility that brings office, training, and operations together under one roof. The project includes office spaces, a training and emergency operations room, drop-in stations, vehicle bays, storage, and dedicated areas for hands-on operational training.

The design prioritizes both privacy and workflow efficiency, addressing the unique needs of administrative staff and in-field crews. From balancing acoustical considerations between office and warehouse areas to coordinating a tight construction timeline, the project showcases our team’s attention to detail and collaborative approach.

Key program elements include a welcoming entry vestibule, the Chief’s office, a flexible multi-use room, separate men’s and women’s restrooms and showers, dual break rooms, a general workroom, and secure vehicle bays. The facility was completed on time, on budget, and exceeded expectations for both performance and design.
