CU ENVD Honors Jordan Lockner with 2022 Young Designer Award
We are excited to share that our Principal-in-Charge, Jordan Lockner, AIA, was recently honored with the 2022 Young Designer Award by the Program in Environmental Design (ENVD) at the University of Colorado Boulder. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to the design and architectural professions, as well as to their communities.
Jordan, a proud graduate of CU Boulder’s Environmental Design program, was celebrated during this year’s CU Alumni Week with a series of events hosted by ENVD. The recognition kicked off with a tour of the Environmental Design building, followed by an award presentation during the ENVD Colloquium Lecture Series, where Jordan had the opportunity to speak about his journey from student to principal architect at Collab Architecture. He emphasized our firm’s dedication to community contributions, a value that remains central to our work.
The celebration continued with a dinner at Ado’s Kitchen, bringing together ENVD faculty, staff, and students. The next day, Jordan participated in an alumni open house and breakfast, engaging with current students and offering insights during studio desk critiques. We are incredibly proud of Jordan’s accomplishments and the recognition he has received from his alma mater. We look forward to his upcoming role as the commencement speaker for the ENVD Class of 2023 and his continued contributions to the architectural community.
