Collab Architecture Featured in the Ouray County Plaindealer
In early April, Collab Architecture was featured in the Ouray County Plaindealer for our ongoing work with the City of Ouray to reimagine the Ouray Hot Springs Pool Bathhouse. The article highlights the unveiling of three conceptual exterior designs—each inspired by the surrounding landscape, community identity, and feedback from Ouray residents and city leadership.
These concepts are part of a larger vision for a new almost 20,000 square foot facility that will expand functionality, improve accessibility, and create a more welcoming and connected experience for both locals and visitors. Programming includes a new fitness center, community hall, locker rooms, concessions, administrative spaces, and a rooftop patio with mountain views—all thoughtfully tied into adjacent Fellin Park.
To date, Collab has led a multi-phase public participation effort, gathering input from community stakeholders, city staff, and even middle and high school students. This feedback continues to shape the direction of the project as we prepare final schematic designs and cost estimates to support future funding efforts.

Stay tuned as we continue working alongside the City of Ouray to bring this next chapter of the Bathhouse to life.
