Celebrating the Hope Springs Development Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Collab Architecture attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Hope Springs development, a significant milestone in partnership with Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity. This community will provide over 100 affordable housing opportunities for local families, including first-time homeowners, through a mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and multifamily units.

The development features innovative 3D printing technology for the construction of some Habitat homes, creating energy-efficient, Energy Star-certified, and “zero ready” residences.

The ceremony featured remarks from prominent speakers, including Mayor John Gates, Adrienne Goolsby (Senior Vice President, Habitat for Humanity International), and Zach Mannheimer (Founder and Chairman of Alquist 3D). Rachel Borum, the first Habitat homeowner in Hope Springs, shared her personal journey, highlighting the impact of this community.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony not only marked the opening of Hope Springs but also celebrated the collective efforts of a community dedicated to addressing the housing crisis with innovation and compassion. Collab Architecture is proud to contribute to a development that exemplifies the power of collaboration, sustainable design, and the transformative impact of affordable housing. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to creating spaces where families can thrive, fostering a brighter future for Greeley and beyond.
