Bowling for Soup 2025: Full Lanes, Full Hearts, and a Vanload of Support
On April 30, 2025, Collab Architecture hosted our third annual Bowling for Soup fundraiser at Chipper’s Lanes Horsetooth—and what a night it was! All 32 lanes were sold out, with around 200 people from across the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry joining us to bowl, connect, and give back. Thanks to the generosity and energy of everyone involved, we collected nearly 1,000 pounds of food and essential items and raised about $8,720 in financial donations for the Food Bank for Larimer County.
This event is part of the Food Bank’s Corporate Food Fight, a month-long campaign that rallies local businesses to help fight hunger across the region. For our firm, it’s become more than just a fundraiser—it’s a chance to bring our industry together to share a few laughs, spark new connections, and make a tangible difference in our community.
When it comes to bragging rights, our Bowling for Soup tradition now boasts three traveling titles—each with its own hardware and legacy to uphold.
- The Bowling for Soup Championship Belt remains the original and most coveted prize. CTL Thompson defended their title in 2025 and will have their name engraved once again as reigning champs.
- The Team Spirit Award has been a fan-favorite for years, but this time, we made it official with a new trophy—complete with a GOAT topper to honor the “Greatest of All Team-Spirits.” We recognized our 2023 winners DS Constructors, 2024 champs Norris Design, and added Corbel Engineering to the roster for 2025 with their “Got Truss Issues?” theme.
- This year also marked the debut of the Heavyweight Champ Trophy, awarded to the team that brought in the most food and essential item donations by weight. It worked—we doubled last year’s contributions. The 2025 champs will have their name proudly added and will have the honor of defending the title next year.
We’re looking forward to seeing all three of our 2025 winners return in 2026 to keep the competition going and the trophies rotating.
Special thanks go out to Chick-fil-A, who donated 100 sandwiches (which disappeared in 20 minutes), and to Ridge River Whiskey, who helped keep the evening festive. And of course, an enormous shout-out to the Chipper’s Lanes Horsetooth team. Their coordination, hospitality, and all-around enthusiasm make this event shine year after year. We couldn’t do it without them.
We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, suited up, and made this year’s event a huge success. Every team brought their energy and commitment—not just to bowl, but to support something bigger. We can’t wait to see what next year brings.
